Well it is second time around for me, but I remain as proud and as terrified as last time to be singing in The Sound for such a tremendous cause. Its hard to imagine the pain and frustration that OI sufferers go through, so frequentlly breaking bones, and spending a childhood, at times literally, wrapped in cotton wool, while their contempories grow up strong around them. However, watching Mira singing in the Voice of Shell 2 years ago, proved to all of us there, that OI sufferers can grow to be independent and strong in spirit. Its shocking how little research is available into a life-changing condition that effects almost half a million people worldwide, and raising money for vital research will inspire me to overcome my nerves as I take to the stage...
